Learn to Paddle
This adventure tour is designed as an instructional orientation
while also enjoying the view of Victoria from the water. Whether
you are new to kayaking or simply want to brush up on your skills,
this tour will teach you different paddling techniques as well as
basic and emergency safety procedures. While you enjoy the
historical backdrop of Victoria's Inner Harbour, you will learn
about the rules of the water and who is at the top of the food
chain in the world of boat traffic. Paddle alongside Seaplanes,
Harbour Ferries, and tug boats with our certified guides as you
learn to love the swift glide of your kayak.
The 2.5-hour tour begins in the sheltered Selkirk Waterway with a group no larger than 5 paddlers. All required equipment included.
