Applicant would need to be available days, evenings, and weekends. Applicant must have past experience with bikes and kayaks as well as 1-2 years customer service experience. Knowledge of local area and island an asset. Wage depends on experience. Position starts as soon as possible. Bicycle Mechanic We have a part time leading to full time position as a Bicycle Mechanic starting as soon as possible. Applicant must have experience repairing bicycles. Skills include inspecting products to determine the requirements for repair, repairing or replacing defective or worn parts and components, testing and adjusting repaired products for proper functioning, and calibrating products using hand tools. Applicant must have good hand-eye co-ordination and must have attention to detail. Trouble shooting and problem solving are major aspects of position. Wage depends of experience. Outdoor Bicycle Guide We have a part time leading to full time position as an outdoor bicylce guide starting as soon as possible. Applicant must have first aid and Valid driver's licence. Guiding experience is a strong asset. Successful applicant will escort groups on outdoor sport and recreational trips, advise on safety and regulations, and plan trips. Applicant must be confident and outging, quick-thinking and able to assess problematic situations. Knowledge of basic bike mechanic a strong asset. Wage depends on experience. Outdoor Kayak Guide We have a part time leading to full time position as an outdoor kayak guide starting as soon as possible. Applicant must have first aid and Valid driver's licence. Applicant must be a CERTIFIED and experienced kayak guide. Successful applicant will escort groups on outdoor sport and recreational trips, advise on safety and regulations, plan trips, and provide outdoor, wilderness and wildlife instruction. Applicant must also be able to operate and maintain watercraft, operate communication (including emergency) devices, operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment, and maintain equipment. Wage depends on experience. |
