Multi day Southern Vancouver Island and Gulf Island Ride
This adventure starts out from Victoria, BC with a train ride up over the scenic Malahat to a small stop appropriately named Cowichan Station. Here you will meet the bikes and begin to ride the rolling hills of Cowichan Valley heading for the small town of Chemainus. "The small town that could" is rich in cultural and historic restoration. After a healthy day of cycling, one of the many comfortable B&Bs awaits your arrival.
Day two takes you to the Ferry ride to Versuivius and Salt Spring Island. This island has seen much growth over the years and maintains a rich amount of natural charm, with world class artists, and an amazing market in the small village of Ganges. A great place to explore and relax in another famed B&B.
After a short ride to Long Harbour Ferry Dock day three starts with more island hopping with a quick trip to Mayne Island. This unique island, as they all are, was made to visit and explore by bike. The full character, long time established pub restaurants, have historical roots when Mayne Island was a stopover on the way to the Cariboo gold rush. The whale watching/kayaking is also great here as is the wellness and close to nature feel.
Day Four offers your arrival back on Vancouver Island into the port town of Sidney , Butchart Gardens is a short ride away and/or an oppportunity to visit the award winning Victoria Estate Winery in North Saanich
The Lockside trail or the Interurban route are natural cycling routes back towards the city of Victoria.
Accomodation, maps and instructions, bikes with locks and helmets, are all included and some baggage transfers can be arranged.
Cowichan Wine Adventure
This adventure starts out from Victoria, BC with a one hour early morning train ride up over the scenic Malahat to the historically and culturally rich Cowichan Valley. At Cowichan Station, you will be met by our Courtesy Van for a short ride to the first stop, the Kinsol Trestle, high above the Koksilah river. This trestle is the tallest remaining trestle of its kind in Canada, a majestic tribute to the engineering genius that opened up the forests of the West Coast. A great photo op. This trestle is slated for a multi million dollar upgrade. Here adventurers get on their fully equipped hybrid bikes and head north along the Trans Canada Trail through a rural and natural setting that makes all appreciate the quiet and serenity that prevails. You are definitely out there. Before you realize it the vineyards of Godfrey and Brown and Zanatta's Vinoteca, are upon you and its time to relax and take in some the great award winning wines this area has produced. The hospitality is very genuine so have your questions ready. Relax and dine on the wrap around veranda or enjoy a picnic lunch as you look over the active vineyards.
After lunch you must decide to leave this wonderful area and start to head back. An easy ride along the country roads past the dairies and fields and yes a few hills will put back in time to drop the bikes off and connect with your train and back to Victoria for dinner. A day not to be missed.

Malahat Multi-Sport Adventure
A Family Oriented Adventure - This one day guided, circle tour explores the best Vancouver Island has to offer. Departing from downtown Victoria on the ViaRail Dayliner, adventurers sit back and enjoy a scenic train ride over The Malahat featuring spectacular trestles and panoramic vistas. After a brief safety orientation, an exhilarating downhill run from Shawnigan Lake Village begins. A snack stop is combined with a tour and tasting at the apple orchards of an active cider works, Merridale Estate Cidery. Further downhill cruising brings cyclists to the beach at Mill Bay, from here a small ferry motors across the water to Brentwood Bay. Following an excellent lunch at a favorite, waterside eating establishment, adventurers enjoy kayaking in the protected waters of Saanich Inlet. After just the right amount of paddling, adventurers can hop on their bicycles to cycle back to the city along country roads, the Lochside and the Galloping Goose Trails or enjoy a relaxing cruise in the courtesy van, with an ice cream stop, to arrive back at Selkirk Station in time for dinner. This tour provides the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife, view West Coast scenery, take advantage of numerous photo opportunities and adventures, get plenty of exercise and all the clean, fresh air you deserve.
